Open Access
Open Access Policy
Open access is an ongoing publication practice that differs from traditional methods of publishing papers to the public get submitted, reviewed, authenticated and finally published. In the Open Access publication model, neither readers nor a reader's institution is charged for access to articles or other resources. Users are free to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles without requiring a subscription to the journal in which these articles are published.
For more information about open access, please check the following pages,

Creative Commons
Authors retain copyright to their work and are asked to grant SciView.Net the right to publish the article as the final, definitive and citable Version of Scholarly Record. In turn, we will make the article entirely freely available on our online platform with no subscription fee, article pay-to-view fee or any other form of the access fee and with no publication embargo. We use the Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license on articles published in the SciView Series. Authors retain copyright and allow anyone else to distribute, remix and build upon their work; commercial re-use is allowed. Anyone doing so must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that the authors endorse them or their use of the work).
For anyone wishing to re-use an author's work, we require the following:
- The full article citation (as indicated in the PDF of each article) is to be included, unchanged, with the re-used article or derivative work
- for the original license terms to be made clear and that the work was previously published in an open-access journal and freely available
- for the DOI of the version of the record to be included
For more information on the Creative Commons Attribution licenses, look at the human-readable summary or the full legal code.
Publication Ethics
The journal is committed to maintaining the highest integrity level in the published content.
Content published in this journal is peer-reviewed.
The journal has adopted clear and rigorous ethical guidelines for best working practices. It follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines and abides by its Code of Conduct in dealing with potential misconduct cases. It adheres to the principles outlined below, which have been devised to ensure accurate, trustworthy, transparent and efficient publication of scientific papers.
Peer Review
The peer-review process
Each JSDTL title offers the highest standards of peer review, overseen by expert editors and editorial boards. We are proud of our friendly and constructive approach to all our potential authors. Our editorial teams evaluate submissions on relevance, sound methodology, and clarity rather than the predicted level of future importance.
Our peer-review process is double-blind.
Double-blind review
- Both the reviewer and the author are anonymous.
- Author anonymity prevents reviewer bias, for example, based on an author's country of origin or previous controversial work.
- Articles written by prestigious or renowned authors are considered based on the content of their papers rather than their reputation.
- Reviewers can often identify the author through their writing style, subject matter or self-citation.
Peer reviewer selection and performance
JSDTL editors are responsible for ensuring a high standard of objective, unbiased, and timely peer review. Editors monitor the performance of peer reviewers/editorial board members' performance and record their reviews' quality and timeliness. Peer reviewers who repeatedly produce poor quality, tardy, abusive or unconstructive reviews are not used again. Editors of JSDTL encourage peer reviewers to identify if they have a conflict of interest with the material they are being asked to review, and editors ask that peer reviewers decline invitations requesting peer review where any circumstances might prevent them from producing fair peer reviews.
Editorial Policies
For Editor
Editor:
- Handles all information, manuscripts, and reviews as confidential materials and does not disseminate them outside the editorial board.
- Guarantees the anonymity of reviewers (double-blind review).
The editors shall follow the COPE Code of Conduct for Journal Editor.
For Reviewer
Reviewer:
- By accepting the review, the reviewer confirms to be an independent expert and to meet the fixed deadlines.
- Handles information included in submitted yet-unpublished contributions as confidential content and guarantees that s/he will not hand it over to any third party or use it to his/her benefit.
- Writes a review to help the author to improve the quality of their work.
- If s/he founds out a possible conflict of interests or has a reasonable suspicion of plagiarism regarding the contribution, reports this fact to the editors.
The reviewers shall follow the COPE Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers.
Publication Fees
Article Publishing Charges (APCs)
Submit your article today and gain worldwide visibility for your article.
In May 2022, the editorial board introduced an APC. This is due to the Ukraine war unleashed by the russian federation.
All articles published in the Economics, Management and Sustainability (ISSN 2520-6303) are published in full open access (GOA). In order to provide free access to readers, and to cover the costs of peer review, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, and journal management, an article processing charge (APC) of 110 US Dollars (USD) applies to papers accepted after peer review. In addition to US Dollars (USD), we accept Euros (EUR) payments.
Local VAT or Sales Tax will be added if applicable.
Many national and private research funding organizations and universities explicitly cover APCs for articles from funded research projects.
Avoiding Surcharges from Extensive English Editing on Submitted Articles
Submitted papers should be written in good English. Authors may use SciView's English editing service before publication or during author revisions. If you use an alternative service that provides a confirmation certificate, please send a copy to the Editorial Office. Authors from economically developing countries or nations should consider registration with AuthorAid (https://www.authoraid.info/en/). AuthorAID is a free pioneering global network that provides support, mentoring, resources, and training for researchers in low and middle-income countries (https://www.authoraid.info/en/about/).
Funding of Article Processing Charges (APCs)
Many funding agencies explicitly allow the use of research grants for the payment of Article Processing Charges (APCs) to publish in open-access journals.
In addition, numerous institutions have created central funds to cover APCs.
Check with your institution whether Gold OA publication costs are supported.

Discounts or cancellations of APCs are also available to authors from low-income countries. To do this, contact the Editor-in-Chief (editor.jsdtl@sciview.net).
For authors from low- and middle-income countries, financial assistance may be granted case-by-case basis. The Editor-in-Chief assesses applications submitted before article submission based on the quality of the research article and the authors' ability to pay.
The request for financial assistance is considered only when it is made at the article's submission time. Any request regarding the same after processing of article will be declined.
Archiving
JSDTL is a journal, as we allow self-archiving of accepted and published papers through open access policy before and after the publication of a paper in the journal. Authors retain the copyright of their scholarly work and can archive pre-print and post-print or publisher's version/PDF to personal or institutional repositories or libraries anytime without requiring permission from the journal or publisher.
Authors of published articles in JSDTL are entitled to deposit their accepted manuscript or the version of record (published papers) in institutional and/or centrally organized repositories and can make this publicly available immediately upon acceptance and publication, provided that the journal and the SciView.Net are attributed as the original place of publication, and that correct citation details are given.
Upon acceptance of the paper by the journal, the authors acknowledge while making their article publicly available that the article has been accepted for publication as follows:
Authors can also make their published article publicly available immediately after publication without requiring any permission to different repositories, libraries or personal websites provided that they also deposit the URL of their published article, in addition to the PDF version, by correctly citing the journal name and the SciView.Net as publisher along with other citation details.
Digital Archiving and Preservation
In order to digitally preserve all published scholarly content, including that of JSDTL and SciView.Net submits, the journals' content to Zenodo for digital archiving for long-term digital preservation. Furthermore, SciView.Net commits to submit the metadata of JSDTL and all other journals to LOCKSS and CLOCKSS via PKP Preservation Network and other institutional repositories. This is to ensure that the published scholarly content by SciView.Net remains available to the community despite discontinuing any journal or any accidental loss of journal data in its archival records. The SciView.Net has further made sure that the metadata of all its open-access journals is compliant with well-known repository services, and their digital crawlers may regularly collect it for record and preservation.
The journal is archived at:
ZENODO - a research data repository for the preservation and making available research, educational and informational content. Access to Zenodo's content is open to all.

Article Copyright

For more information on the Creative Commons Attribution licenses, look at the human-readable summary or the full legal code.
Plagiarism and copyright
JSDTL editors and readers have a right to expect that submitted work is the author's own, that it has not been plagiarized (i.e. taken from other authors without permission, if permission is required) and that copyright has not been breached (for example, if figures or tables are reproduced). We ask authors to declare that the work reported is their own and that they are the copyright owner. Papers are revised with Similarity Check to avoid plagiarism. In case of plagiarism, the author could state the situation through the e-mail: editor.jsdtl@sciview.net.
Protecting intellectual property
JSDTL authors have a right to protect their intellectual property. JSDTL licenses content from authors, they have the copyright of their papers. The authors may transfer the copyright from their papers to the editors of JSDTL.
Peer reviewer conduct and intellectual property
Authors are entitled to expect that peer reviewers or other individuals privy to the work an author submits to JSDTL will not steal their research ideas or plagiarize their work. JSDTL explains to peer reviewers that material is confidential until it has not been published. Editors of JSDTL protect peer reviewers from authors and, even if peer reviewer identities are revealed, should discourage authors from contacting peer reviewers directly, especially if misconduct is suspected.
